The Light Finds It

Cassandra Oleary

Sometimes nothing changes.

The leaves are the same.

The path is the same.

The morning is the same.

Only the light has moved.

And suddenly something ordinary asks to be seen.

Perhaps that's all noticing really is.

Not searching for remarkable things.

Simply waiting for light to arrive.

The world is always speaking. We only have to notice.

Always learning to see,
Cassandra
